Work PACKAGE 1 – Literature review and planning

Work Package 1 provides a literature review yielding, a research memo with a fine-tuned elaborations of the theoretical expectations, hypotheses, research design and concepts used by the project, and a book manuscript synthesizing the state of scholarly literature on voting behavior regarding the emergence and persistence of programmatic linkages between voters and parties with empirical illustrations of key points provided by our own analyses of pre-existing survey data from Romania and other former Communist countries.
