What are cookies and why do we use cookies?
Cookies are text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you access our website. First party cookies are set on the domains you are currently visiting. Third party cookies are set on domains other than those of the web pages you visit, such as cookies set by the services used by the domain visited. The information collected by cookies does not retain the name, data filled in forms or other personal data of this kind, but contains a unique ID to distinguish one visitor from another, which makes this ID personal data.
Cookies can be used for various purposes. First, they may be necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the website. For example, without cookies, it can be difficult for the website to remember that you are logged in or what products you have added to your shopping cart. These are called necessary cookies, and are active automatically, not being conditioned by the visitor’s consent. Also in the category of necessary cookies are those placed to display your non-personalized advertising, as well as those that measure our audience in the Audience and Internet Traffic Study, administered by the Romanian Audit Office Transmedia, because without measuring the audience the site ours cannot be profitable.

Third, when we integrate social networking plug-ins into the site, they place social media cookies to allow the playback of the content (e.g. youtube, soundcloud), to give you the opportunity to log in using a third party service (e.g. Facebook or Google), as well as to give you the opportunity to appreciate or share a page or product on your favorite social service.
A fourth important reason why we use cookies is to allow the personalization of online advertising. Advertising personalization is the way the online industry works today, and it allows websites not to charge visitors, but to fund themselves from advertising. Or the brands that advertise are interested in reaching the relevant audience categories for their products and services, which means the selection of certain categories of visitors to display those ads. Usually, by selecting those categories, brands do not process personal data, but the profile that is created about visitors is based on the data collected through advertising profiling cookies.
